i bring gifts as my peace offering though. and there are sprinkles and puffy cloud babies. that's okay right? you still love me?
homemade marshmallows are absolutely the best. super simple and really customize-able. You can color them, you can add in flavors like chocolate chips, salted caramel swirls and *cough* cookie dough *cough* been there done that..
but most importantly sprinkles. you can add in sprinkles. lots of them.
you can use a bit of your obsessively large collection. Then if you're like me, you can ship them off as a late christmas gift to your favorite missouri girl because you suck as a friend and tried to send them some early. quick story, made my hot chocolate mix, packaged it all cute and then made some marshmallows quick with huge hunks of cookie dough everywhere and then realized that I can't ship cookie dough.. but that's still a thing. you can still drop hunks in at the same time you'd drop in the sprinkles. Just make sure it's egg-less and don't ship it anywhere. eat them all by yourself.
I suck. So i started over and am just now sending them.. congrats on sucking mikayla...
anyway, the demystified recipe for marshmallows is right over here. Head over there and make some marshmallows, and when you've completed the marshmallow mixture, right before you pour it in the pan, mix in a ton of sprinkles.
like alot. and then coat the top with sprinkles because sprinkles are happy. and have a happy day. because you are beautiful. and so is today. and sprinkles.
Yum! Mr. A & I used to have a favorite ice cream shop were we used to live that made everything from scratch. My favorite topping would be sprinkles (naturally) & a homemade marshmallow that they would brulee on top of the ice cream. This is preaching right to my wheelhouse!
